Tucson Fiddle Contest
The cost to participate and attend is free. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets.
The Tucson Fiddle Contest first began in 1940 and is a public event dedicated to celebrating and promoting the joy of fiddle music. The contest draws 40 participants each year from across the southwest and hundreds of attendees. The event is supported by the Arizona Old-Time Fiddlers Association, a non-profit organization whose objective is to preserve, promote and perpetuate the art of old time fiddling, to encourage all people, young and old, to develop their musical talents.
